Coastal Financial Credit Union remains committed to doing our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19. We continue to take this matter very seriously, ensuring enhanced cleaning practices and proper hygiene practices by staff. To safely serve you please note:

  • As directed by the Nova Scotia Government, face masks continue to be mandatory. We also ask that you respect each other's personal space. 
  • If you are experiencing flu/COVID symptoms or should be self-isolating for any reason (IE: travel, close contact, awaiting test results, etc…), please Do Not Enter the branch.
  • For your convenience, we offer many electronic banking options: MemberDirect® Online Banking, Mobile App Banking, Deposit Anywhere™, Interac eTransfers®, ATM, and many more!
  • Lending, account opening, and investments will continue to be by appointment only.

Applications for the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) are now closed. To check the status of your CEBA application contact the Government of Canada’s CEBA Call Centre at 1-888-324-4201. See our CEBA page here.

Find support after Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB): If you continue to need income support, find out if you are eligible for Employment Insurance or other Recovery benefits. Transitioning to new benefits. Receiving EI or CERB support payments form the CRA? You can get your payments faster by signing up for direct deposit from within your credit union online account. See how here.

Unfortunately, scammers will try to take advantage of situations like this.  Please remember that we will never send you unsolicited emails asking for personal identification such as passwords, PINs, social insurance number, credit card or account information.  Coastal Financial Credit Union wants you to know that we take the safety and security of your information seriously. If you ever receive an email that appears to be from someone at our credit union, please call 902-742-7322 or send us an email at contactus@coastalfinancial.ca to confirm whether the email is legitimate before responding.
