Introducing the Credit Union Wellness Centre

Coastal Financial Credit Union is proud to announce its sponsorship agreement the with Mariners Centre Expansion Project as the official naming rights partner. The expanded campus will be known as the Credit Union RecPlex, with the new aquatics centre, fitness facility, and walking track housed in the Credit Union Wellness Centre.

By choosing to do their banking locally right here in our community, we’re able to once again deliver on our purpose of helping our communities thrive by becoming the long-term naming sponsor of the Credit Union RecPlex and the Credit Union Wellness Centre, which will certainly become a cornerstone of our community.”

As part of our commitment, a portion of Coastal Financial’s sponsorship will annually support the Mariners Centre Health and Wellness Fund, which helps support programming costs at the Centre on an ongoing basis.

The enhanced campus will include diverse amenities tailored to residents of all ages and abilities. Highlights include an aquatics centre, fitness facilities, a walking track, and spaces designed with inclusivity in mind. The Credit Union RecPlex will set a new standard for community-focused infrastructure in Southwest Nova Scotia.
